One Hour of 'Flesh Made Fear' Demo | Gameplay

A dedicated love letter to Resident Evil

Whenever I hear “Inspired by Resident Evil,” I typically know what I’m in store for: tank controls, fixed camera angles, and zombie-adjacent monsters.

No, that's not a criticism, especially as someone who adores the long-running franchise. Flesh Made Fear feels like I stepped back into my 1996 gaming era, with its retro aesthetics, quirky voice acting, and over-the-top narrative.

In my first 1.5 hours of play, I read lore-building documents, popped some zombie heads, enjoyed a haunting soundtrack, and maybe got lost once for 30 minutes because it was 2 a.m. and I missed three little numbers (don't worry, I spared you my idiocy).

Check out my time in Rotwood Forest in the posted video, and find more details about Flesh Made Fear on Steam!
